Chelsfield Primary

Meet the Governors

Mrs R Tatton-Kelly

Chair of Governors

I have been Chair of Governors at Chelsfield Primary School since September 2018. Prior to this I was a staff governor and I worked at Chelsfield as a Class Teacher and Maths Subject Leader from 2015 to 2018.

I taught in Bromley and Bexley Primary Schools for 16 years, with my expertise being in Maths and I have been on school governing bodies since 1999.  Before teaching I worked in politics.

I currently work for the charity English Heritage, at historic properties in South East London. In my free time I enjoy reading, genealogy and travelling.

Co-opted Governor

I have been a Governor at Chelsfield for 4 years. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked in Social work and adult education, whilst also serving as a Magistrate for several years in Inner London.

I was Deputy Head at Chelsfield Primary School many years ago, but now work part time with groups of gifted and talented children. My own children attended Chelsfield, so my association with the school is of about 30 years duration!

Co-opted Governor

I became a parent governor in March 2017.

I have two sons that attend Chelsfield Primary and I have a desire to see the school function to its full potential in all areas.

I currently work as a Practitioner at Tiddlywinks pre-school where I enjoy working with the children and preparing them for their time at school.

Mrs H Mee

Parent Governor

My eldest son has moved on to secondary school now, and my youngest is at Chelsfield Primary School, so I know the school very well and have a vested interest in ensuring the school runs as efficiently as possible. My professional background is in Office Management, I previously worked for a Shipping Company and also UCL organising courses for the Biochemical Engineering Department. I feel that now I can give something back to the school that has done a fantastic job in preparing my children for the wider world. I’m very happy to become part of the governing body at Chelsfield Primary School.
