There is always a meat, vegetarian and a jacket potato with fillings option. Fresh Salad, fruit, bread and a dessert are available every day, served with water or milk to drink. The menu is changed every term. Please see a copy of the menu in the current menu tab. If you require a printed version, please come and collect one from the office. For juniors (Years 3-6) School Dinners cost £2.25 per day. (£11.25 per week). Money is paid through the School Gateway and must be paid in advance. All children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 are eligible for free school meals.

Free School Meals Explained:
Universal Infant Free School Meals Scheme (UIFSM) From September 2014 all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils attending state-funded schools will be eligible for a free school meal. This is known as Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) Scheme. The Government has decided that from this date, all pupils in Reception, year 1 and year 2 should be able to have a free school meal at lunchtime. This offer does not depend on your household income or whether you receive any benefits – every child in these classes is eligible to take up the offer.
Free School Meals (FSM) In addition to the Universal Infant free school meals your child might be entitled to additional funding if their household income is less than £16,190. You could save up to £400 a year if your child gets free school meals and it will mean they get a healthy school cooked lunch every day. If your child is eligible for free school meals, they’ll remain eligible until they finish the phase of schooling (primary or secondary) they’re in on 31 March 2022. Registering for FREE SCHOOL MEAL entitlement is confidential.
The FSM scheme is separate to the Universal Infant Free School Meal eligibility and it is open to all years therefore it is important that you still make an application if your child is eligible.
Schools are also given additional funding by the Government for every child who is awarded Free School Meals FSM. This very important funding is used to support interventions and enrichments for all children in school to close the attainment gap.
The pupil premium means that even if you don't wish to access a free daily meal, applying will mean that this school will receive further funding.

Packed LunchesIf your child prefers a packed lunch we encourage our children to eat a healthy packed lunch. Sweets, fizzy drinks and chocolate bars should not be included in packed lunches. For healthy packed lunch ideas please visit: https://www.nhs.uk/change4life/recipes/healthier-lunchboxes. Please ensure that the packed lunch contains no nuts or nut products (or chocolate spread which can contain nuts), due to allergies. Any drinks should be in a plastic container or carton. No glass or cans of fizzy drink should be brought to school. Packed lunches should always be labelled clearly with your child's name.
School Trips
For school trips we can offer your child a school prepared packed lunch. The sandwich or roll has a choice of fillings of ham, tuna or cheese with a piece of fruit and a yoghurt or biscuit. A bottle of water is included.
